The First Baptist Church in Swansea is a faith family with a rich heritage. It was founded by those in the 17th century who sought religious toleration. They proclaimed God's grace when they were able to settle in this New England wilderness. Our Traditions and customs continue to emphasize religious freedom coupled with community responsibility. We are a caring congregation that recognizes the challenges of living in the 21st century. We together strive to make our venerable Baptist faith relevant and appropriate for families today.
